Role Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and hands-on Stores & Logistics Coordinator to join a well-established organisation. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a small stores and warehouse operation, managing stock, goods movements and the delivery of materials to sites, alongside providing administrative support to the wider team.

This is a varied role combining practical stores duties, including manual handling and moving materials, with stock control, driving and administration. The position would suit someone who enjoys a hands-on working environment while also being confident managing systems, documentation and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day organisation and operation of the stores and warehouse area.
  • Receive, check and process incoming deliveries and outgoing materials.
  • Load, unload and move stock and materials safely.
  • Pick and prepare materials and equipment for engineers, collections and site deliveries.
  • Deliver materials to site locations when required using a company van.
  • Carry out regular stock takes and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Update stock movements and stock levels on internal systems.
  • Monitor stock requirements and support the ordering and replenishment of materials and supplies.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and well-organised stores and warehouse environment.
  • Break down packaging and dispose of recyclable materials appropriately.
  • Prepare and issue engineer reports following data and asset checks.
  • Prepare service and defect quotations as required.
  • Process client invoices following completion of works.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete general administrative duties.
  • Liaise professionally with engineers, customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Ensure all stores, warehouse and delivery activities comply with company health & safety procedures.
  • Support the wider team with additional operational duties as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a stores, warehouse, logistics or stock control environment.
  • Comfortable undertaking manual handling duties, including moving and handling stock and materials.
  • Previous administrative experience with strong attention to detail.
  • Good stock control and inventory management skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to balance practical and administrative responsibilities.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Confident using stock management and general administrative systems.
  • Good understanding of workplace health & safety procedures.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and work independently when required.
  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Forklift Truck licence would be advantageous; however, training can be provided.

Offering

  • Salary £27,976 per annum.
  • Full-time, permanent position.
  • Based in East Kilbride.
  • Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:30am – 5:00pm; Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm.
  • Private healthcare.
  • Profit share entitlement.
  • Company iPhone.
  • Generous holiday entitlement.
  • Company pension.
  • Bike to Work scheme.
  • Full training on internal operating systems.
  • Varied position combining stores, logistics, driving and administrative responsibilities.
