Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and reputable business specialising in the servicing and maintenance of life safety systems across Scotland.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day running of a small warehouse operation, working independently to ensure materials, stock, and deliveries are managed efficiently. This role would suit an organised and proactive individual with previous warehouse experience who enjoys working within a hands-on environment. Full training on internal systems will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the accurate and timely collection and delivery of goods
- Control all materials entering and leaving the warehouse, including loading and unloading deliveries
- Assist with breaking down and disposal of recyclable materials
- Deliver materials to site locations when required using a company vehicle
- Support with ordering and maintaining stock levels
- Carry out regular stock takes and update inventory systems accordingly
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe warehouse environment at all times
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and health & safety regulations
- Provide additional support duties as required to meet business needs
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience within a warehouse or stores environment is essential
- Full clean driving licence required
- Forklift Truck Licence preferred, although training can be provided
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
