Job Description

Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established Facilities Management provider as a valued member of their fast-paced and sociable Service Desk team.

This full-time, office-based role reports to the Service Desk Manager and Supervisor and plays a pivotal role in coordinating planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to ensure contractual commitments are delivered on time and to a high standard.

The client is seeking an enthusiastic, upbeat and personable individual who brings energy to the workplace, thrives in a busy team environment and takes real pride in delivering excellent service.
This role is suited to someone with a strong work ethic who enjoys being part of a supportive team where collaboration and a positive atmosphere are key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule planned preventative maintenance works in line with contractual requirements and deadlines.
  • Liaise with engineers and subcontractors to coordinate and confirm PPM visits.
  • Communicate confidently with customers to confirm appointments and access arrangements.
  • Monitor and review PPM activities to ensure compliance with standards and client specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records, including asset updates and contract amendments.
  • Provide support and cover across the wider Service Desk team as required.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a scheduling, planning or helpdesk environment.
  • Experience coordinating planned maintenance works is advantageous.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach.
  • Energetic, positive and personable with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and strong sense of responsibility.
  • A genuine team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and sociable office environment.

Offering

  • Full-time, permanent, office-based position in South Lanarkshire.
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours between 8am – 5pm.
  • Salary up to £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • 25 days annual leave plus 8 statutory holidays.
