Job Description

Murray Recruitment is excited to offer a new opportunity for an HR Assistant to join our esteemed client in based in Paisley.

The successful candidate will provide essential support to the HR and Office Manager for Human Resources operations and processing of monthly Payroll from beginning to end.


  • Handle all HR administration.
  • Manage starter and leaver paperwork, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
  • Assist with employee relations (ER) administration.
  • Process monthly payroll for 200 staff members, with full training provided.
  • Update and maintain HR software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Recruitment administration.
  • Coordinate orientation and training for employees.
  • Assist HR Manager with project work.


Experience and Skills Needed:

  • Experience in a similar HR position.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and maintain strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Demonstrates strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Maintains a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Word & Excel.
  • No prior payroll experience is required as training will be provided.



  • Salary up to £30k per annum DOE.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm.
  • 20 days holiday plus 9 public holidays, increasing by one day per year up to 25 days.
