Job Description

Murray Recruitment are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant for a full-time permanent position based in North Lanarkshire for our client who are a leading supplier of Civil’s products.

Reporting to the Director you will be responsible for the Company’s accounts function from beginning to end.


  • Receive and collate invoices from suppliers
  • Manage high volume invoice processing
  • Purchase ledger & sales ledger processing
  • Liaise with Suppliers regarding any queries
  • Reconciliation of supplier statements
  • Credit control
  • Manage goods received GDN
  • Deal with customer enquiries to resolution
  • All associated administration.

Skills & Experience;

  • Previous experience within Finance Assistant position
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills e.g. Excel & Word / SAGE 50 desirable
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Able to work flexibly under pressure


  • Working hours are Monday – Friday – 37.5 hour week.
  • Salary is up to £24k DOE

  • Holidays 22 basic plus 8 bank holidays
