Job Description

Murray Recruitment have a new opportunity available for an Engineering Supervisor for a new full time, permanent contract.
We are working with a global FM provider who have secured a prestigious new contract and are on the look for an Engineering Supervisor to assist with the key service delivery.
Contracts are based across North/ South Lanarkshire, Ayrshire and Dumfries and Galloway.

Job requirements

  • Your role will be a working Supervisor – carrying out all required PPM and reactive maintenance as part of the contract requirements.
  • Responsible for the day to day organisation, assisting with queries and being the first point of contact of escalation for the engineers (approx. 15/ 20 engineers) within the contract.
  • You will oversee the delivery of works on site.
  • Management of external sub-contractors.
  • Ensuring works are being delivered on time and within budget.
  • Being very much client facing and proactive with the client to ensure service delivery.
  • Ensuring all health and safety regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Ensuring reports are completed and submitted for review.
  • Working with the senior management team to assist with the key service delivery.
  • You will be an experienced Lead Engineer/ Working Supervisor who is looking to take that next step in their career into a supervisory/ management position.
  • Working safely and efficiently to ensure client requirements are met.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

  • Qualified Lead Engineer – from a mechanical / electrical background.
  • Experience working within a busy, client facing FM environment.
  • Must be happy to complete a criminal record background check.
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Must be experienced managing/ leading a team of Fm engineers within a commercial environment.


  • Salary paying up to £38,000
  • Van + fuel card provided.
  • On – call 1/10 (management on call – not actually attending call outs)
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 40 hours per week 8am- 4:30pm
  • Continuous training and development with on-the-job training provided as well.
