Job Description

Murray Recruitment are currently recruiting for a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Purchase Admin Team Leader for a permanent role based in Stirling for our client who are a well-established and successful Building Services company.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, the ideal candidate will have experience in managing a small team and possess the ability to prioritise tasks and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Duties

  • Lead and manage a small team
  • Provide training, support, and performance appraisals
  • Oversee procurement processes and manage purchase orders
  • Negotiate terms, prices, and deliveries with suppliers
  • Act as the main contact between the team and other departments
  • Ensure effective communication and resolve issues promptly
  • Manage procurement systems and ensure accurate data input
  • Implement process improvements for efficiency
  • Handle procurement documentation and record-keeping
  • Prepare reports and assist with budget monitoring

Experience

  • Experience managing a small team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time
  • Strong communication skills with all stakeholder levels
  • Proficiency in procurement and purchase ledger systems
  • Experience in procurement, ordering, or purchase ledger
  • Knowledge of FM industry (desirable, not essential)
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy

Offering

  • Salary £30k – £35k DOE
  • Hours of work Mon-Fri 8am – 5pm (1 hour lunch)
  • Office Based / Hybrid setup available after training
  • Holidays – 35 per year
