Job Description
My client who are a UK Leading organisation who possess over 50 years’ experience within their industry are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing and busy department on a full-time permanent basis.
Reporting to the Financial Controller within the Accounts Department, you will be responsible for:
- Bank Reconciliations.
- Processing Mastercard & cheque payments.
- Petty cash.
- VAT analysis.
- Processing Sales Invoices.
- Assisting Purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control departments.
- Assisting Accountant with quarterly accounts.
- General Administrative support to the department.
Essential requirements:
- Experience within a similar Accounts position.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Team player with ability to manage own workload.
- Strong Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience using a financial system, Sage experience desirable.
Offering:
- Salary DOE
- Hours Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm Friday 8am – 3pm
- Holiday entitlement is 35 days
- Pension 10% Employers, 5% Employee
- BUPA after 18 months
