Job Description

My client who are a UK Leading organisation who possess over 50 years’ experience within their industry are currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join their growing and busy department on a full-time permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller within the Accounts Department, you will be responsible for:

  • Bank Reconciliations.
  • Processing Mastercard & cheque payments.
  • Petty cash.
  • VAT analysis.
  • Processing Sales Invoices.
  • Assisting Purchase ledger, sales ledger, credit control departments.
  • Assisting Accountant with quarterly accounts.
  • General Administrative support to the department.


Essential requirements:

  • Experience within a similar Accounts position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Team player with ability to manage own workload.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel experience
  • Experience using a financial system, Sage experience desirable.



  • Salary DOE
  • Hours Monday – Thursday 8am – 5pm Friday 8am – 3pm
  • Holiday entitlement is 35 days
  • Pension 10% Employers, 5% Employee
  • BUPA after 18 months
