The Operations Manager will oversee both office and field-based teams, ensuring optimal performance, adherence to safety standards, and exceptional customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, lead process improvements, and foster a culture of continuous development and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across office and field teams
- Ensure internal and client-specific KPIs are consistently met
- Manage workflows to maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards
- Lead, mentor, and develop the team to meet operational and strategic objectives
- Conduct employee appraisals and performance reviews
- Manage budgets, support financial goals, and identify cost-saving initiatives
- Drive compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Maintain proactive and professional communication with clients
- Attend regular client review meetings
- Conduct field audits to ensure quality and health & safety compliance
Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership and management experience within the mechanical, electrical, building services, or facilities management industry
- Strong decision-making, organisational, and team development abilities
- Demonstrated success in KPI achievement and process improvement
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required
