Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lift Engineer to join a well-established and growing maintenance team.
This role plays a key part in ensuring high standards of lift service, safety, and reliability across a varied client base.
This position offers scope for progression, additional earning potential, and specialised offshore work with full training provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake lift maintenance, callouts, and minor repairs across a designated service area
- Manage and maintain service routes including documentation and route paperwork transmission
- Complete insurance report items and SAFed testing requirements
- Participate in a 24/7 callout rota (currently 1 in 4 weeks)
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Skills & Experience
- NVQ Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) in Lift Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience within the lift industry
- Strong knowledge of both traction and hydraulic lift systems
- Excellent IT literacy and familiarity with digital service processes
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Must be willing to undergo a PVG check
Offering
- Full-time, permanent role based in Glasgow, covering East coast of Scotland
- 24/7 rota participation (1 in 4 weeks)
- Basic salary up to £44,000 per annum
- Additional pay for on-call and offshore work
