Main Duties
- Managing purchase and sales ledger
- Handling VAT returns
- Processing CIS returns
- Conducting credit control
- Managing staff expenses
- Processing accounts to trial balance
- Performing bank reconciliations
- Dealing with customer queries
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping role, preferably within an accountants practice or the construction industry.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines.
- Proficiency in using back-office systems such as SAGE 50, SAGE Cloud, Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft – – Excel and Word.
