Job Description

Main Duties

  • Managing purchase and sales ledger
  • Handling VAT returns
  • Processing CIS returns
  • Conducting credit control
  • Managing staff expenses
  • Processing accounts to trial balance
  • Performing bank reconciliations
  • Dealing with customer queries

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a similar bookkeeping role, preferably within an accountants practice or the construction industry.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and to deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using back-office systems such as SAGE 50, SAGE Cloud, Xero, QuickBooks, and Microsoft – – Excel and Word.
